You're Invited To The Rubicon Masonic Society's 11th Annual Festive Board and Masonic Conference in Lexington, KY

Brethren,

2023 marks the 11th year the Rubicon Masonic Society has conducted its Annual Festive Board in Lexington, Kentucky, at Spindletop Hall.

These events have offered evenings of fine dining, fellowship, song and toasts in the finest Masonic fashion; and nationally known keynote speakers have highlighted the event with Masonic education.

In addition to our annual festive board, The Rubicon Masonic Society and several Masonic co-sponsors will host a special Conference entitled, "THE CLASSIC MASONIC AUTHORS OF THE 20th CENTURY CONFERENCE," which will be held the following day.

 

We invite you to attend one or both events:

1. Our 11th Festive Board assembly in Lexington at Spindletop Hall on Friday, August 18, 2023.
2. And, “THE CLASSIC MASONIC AUTHORS OF THE 20th CENTURY CONFERENCE” on Saturday, August 19th, at the Hilton in downtown Lexington, KY.

 

RSVPs are required by August 15th, and seating is limited, so please don’t delay.

Attending one event costs $100, or a ticket to both events can be purchased for $150.

 

This conference will highlight the significant work and writings of the following prestigious Masonic authors:

• ANDREW SOMMERVILLE MACBRIDE – presented by W.B. Andrew Hammer.
• JOSEPH FORT NEWTON – presented by W.B. Dan M. Kemble.
• DWIGHT L. SMITH, P.G.M. – presented by W.B. Christopher L. Hodapp.
• THOMAS W. JACKSON – presented by W.B. John W. Bizzack.

Brother Antonio Mantica, an officer at Lexington Lodge No. 1, will deliver the keynote address at the Festive board and will serve as the moderator for this conference.

 

Unfortunately, with the passage of time, the works of these Masonic authors continue to fade from the consciousness of contemporary Masons.

The conference aims to acquaint (or reacquaint) Masons with these authors and draw attention again to the work and writings of these men and the deeper meanings they offer about Freemasonry's historical intent, design, and aim.
